Started the hike today. It was a very warm welcome: it was raining all day long. In addition it was very humid. In no time I was wet all over: rain on the outside, sweat inside my clothing. Anyway, due to the rain I was actually alone for the 4 hours it took me from Konstanz to Weinfelden. I had to leave the E1 in Märstetten to get to my accommodation in Weinfelden. The overall distance was about 18km in the end, instead of planned 14km. Now my feet and shoulders hurt. Have to get used to it.
